Does the ProFractional Laser treat rolling acne scars on the face? Yes, the Profractional and Matrix lasers help treat rolling acne scars. A series of 3-5 lighter treatments would result in a noticeable difference. A deeper treatment could result in a noticeable improvement in 1-2 treatments. Does this laser treat ice pick scaring? It will improve ice pick scarring somewhat, but a better treatment for that is TCA Cross or punch excisions/elevations/grafting. Click Here for more information. What would be the discount given for the deeper settings? Dr Lin would need to evaluate your acne scarring. Can you do the laser treatment if you are pregnant? Which one is better for large pores and some acne scars? How many treatments are recommended? No, we do not recommend laser treatments on pregnant people. Both lasers are very similar and both are excellent for large pores and acne scars. I recommend 3-5 treatments. Can the Matrix laser be used on dark skin? I can tolerate the downtime to expedite results. If choosing the Matrix laser, how many treatments are usually required? Also, can these lasers be used on any area of the body? Yes! The Matrix can be used on all skin types. Usually, we recommend 3-5 treatments at the lighter settings. Deeper settings can be used for even faster results, but there is more downtime. The lasers can be used on virtually any area of the body. Does this deal cover the whole face or just parts of the face? This deal covers the whole face. What is the difference between the Matrix laser and the Profractional laser treatments? With the Profractional laser, there is little or no down time. It improves wrinkling, acne scars and tightens the skin's texture. With the Matrix, there is 7-10 days downtime.
